| Dr. Sheila Schaffer - DVM |
 |
Dr. Schaffer is a Colorado native, raised in the old farming community of Welby, located just northeast of Denver. She earned a BS at Regis College, and then went on to earn her DVM at CSU in Fort Collins in 1994. She practiced small animal medicine in the Denver/Boulder area until 2005, when she moved to Falcon. Dr. Schaffer bought Fountain Valley Animal Hospital in August of 2007. In the spring of 2008 she moved the clinic into larger facilities on Main Street in Security. Dr. Schaffer shares her home with four cats and one dog. When not at work, Dr. Schaffer enjoys horseback riding, gardening, walking her dog, Dixie, and home improvement projects. |

| Rebecca Quick-Billings - Certified Veterinary Technician |
 |
Rebecca is a Certified Veterinary Technician. She is Fountain Valley Animal Hospital's Head Technician with eleven years experience. Rebecca graduated from Bel Rae Institute of Animal Technology in 1996. Rebecca loves to garden, sew, and bake. She spoils the FVAH staff with home baked goodies and homemade jelly. She and her husband Mark have six granddaughters and five grandsons. Rebecca shares her home with four cats, Max, Pumpkin, Winston, and Scotty. |

| Karen Winters - Veterinary Technician |

Karen is a Veterinary Technician and a graduate of Bel Rae Institute of Animal Technology. Her husband, Tom, works in the computer field, and their daughter, Ashley, graduated from CSU in May with a bachelors of psychology and sociology. Karen has two golden retrievers, Shelby and Murphy. In her free time Karen shows and trains her horse, Patty. |

| Kozelle Peterson - Veterinarian Assistant |

Kozelle has been working as a Veterinarian Assistant for several years. She and her husband Todd are both natives of Colorado Springs. They have two children; Jason, who will be attending University of Utah, and their daughter Amber, a Widefield High School senior. Kozelle stays very active with her family including her large extended family, and their Akita, "Sierra". Kozelle enjoys rafting, gardening, reading, family bar-b-ques, and participating in her church. |

| Kimberlee Blair-Sluder - Administrator |

Kim is Fountain Valley Animal Hospital's Administrator and Manager. Kim has been with the hospital for many years; she is a friendly, familiar face at the front counter. Kim manages the clinic, keeping it running smoothly. She is in charge of patient admissions and trains all staff on the clinic's software system. Kim and her husband, Cris, are natives of the Fountain Valley area. They have a daughter, Meghan, attending nursing school; and a son, James, who will be attending Northern Colorado University majoring in engineering. Kim stays busy with her farm: horses, chickens, dogs, gardening, and church activities. |

| Lacee Rowe - Receptionist |

Lacee moved to Colorado from Hereford Texas. She enjoys the beautiful Colorado mountains and weather. Lacee was a Veterinarian Assistant in Lubbock TX, and is currently enrolled in college in Colorado Springs, majoring in Veterinarian Technology. Lacee enjoys reading, time spent at Cripple Creek, family, and spending time with her cat "Pazzo". |
